Part of a series of studies of contemporary philosophers, this volume 12 focuses on Martin Buber.  It is an ex-library book from the Red Wing Public Library, Red Wing, MN and has their card and stamp on the inside and page edges.  There is also a page separation starting.  It’s stated as a 1st ed. dating 1967.

This book is an enthralling epic of the men and women who settled the New England wilderness.  It was originally copyright in 1942, this book is a 9th printing that dates May, 1958.  It is an ex-library book from the High School Library in Great Falls, SC and does have their stamp in several places near the front and back of the book.  It also shows some wear on the cover and page edges while the actual pages look very good.

These Classic Fairy Tales come with books as well as cassettes with voices of a full cast of characters.  One set contains Goldilocks and the Three Beas and The Three Little Pigs.  The other set contains Hansel and Gretel.  The cassettes show a date of 1975 whereas the whole package shows a date of 1988.  Both are in their original packaging and look to have never been opened.  But the cardboard that they are packaged in does have some storage wear.

Lewis Carroll A Biography –

Lewis Carroll never married, left England only once, was fascinated by games and puzzles, became one of the foremost early amateur portrait photographers, and was strongly attracted to little girls: the “child friends” he devoted himself to instructing, entertaining and photographing.  The book includes 40 illustrations.  Dating 1979 the dust jacket has wear but it has done its job well because the cover and pages look great.  But, this is an ex-library book from the University Club of LA and has their stamp and sticker (see photos)

Those were the days when a boundary dispute was an excuse for violence.  But it might have worked out peaceably, for young Bailey had fallen head over heels in love with beautiful Jane Whitaker.  It might have, that is, if Jane had not chosen to ignore his love.  So, the feud between the Whitakers and the Baileys flared to a murderous pitch.  This hard cover copy of the Gun Slinger dates 1951, it is an ex-library book and has the card and stamp inside for the LA County Library (see photos).  The cover has just slight wear, mainly on the corners and edges.  The inside pages look pretty good for a book that was a library book.

Those were the days when a boundary dispute was an excuse for violence.  But it might have worked out peaceably, for young Bailey had fallen head over heels in love with beautiful Jane Whitaker.  It might have, that is, if Jane had not chosen to ignore his love.  So, the feud between the Whitakers and the Baileys flared to a murderous pitch.  This hard cover copy of the Gun Slinger dates 1951, it is an ex-library book and has the card and stamp inside for the LA County Library (see photos).  The cover has just slight wear, mainly on the corners and edges.  The inside pages look pretty good for a book that was a library book.
