Great Expectations is regarded by many as Dickens' greatest novel, is an excellent example of his widespread acceptance and influence.  Written with humor and understanding about both the good and evil in life, the characters are very real, even in today's age.

This book is an enthralling epic of the men and women who settled the New England wilderness.  It was originally copyright in 1942, this book is a 9^th printing that dates May, 1958.  It is an ex-library book from the High School Library in Great Falls, SC and does have their stamp in several places near the front and back of the book.  It also shows some wear on the cover and page edges while the actual pages look very good.

The Antique Dealer An Autobiography by R. P. Way was printed in London by Michael Joseph, with this being a 5th impression dating April, 1956.  This hardcover measures 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 (approx.) and contains 211 pages.  The cover, as well as the inside pages look great!  There is very little shelf wear on the cover, most being on the edges and corners.  This is a great book for any collection.

This set of books consist of 5 books: The White House – an historic guide; The Presidents of the United States of America; We, the People, the story of the United States Capitol; George Washington, man and monument; and Equal Justice Under Law, the Supreme Court in American Life.  They date in the late 1960s and come as a boxed set.  The box has some wear mainly on the edges and corners.  The actual books look great for their age.  All are full of beautiful pictures and history.

Gulliver Mickey is a Walt Disney Book that dates 1975.  This hardcover, Book Club Edition measures 8 1/2 x 6 (approx.).  The cover has very little shelf wear, most is on the edges and corners.  The inside pages - ink and illustrations - look new.

As the novel opens, two men lie dead in the vestry of a London church.  One is Sir Paul Berowne – rich, cultivated, elegant; the other is an alcoholic tramp.  Their brutal fate pulls Adam Dalgliesh into the quicksand of a case whose mysteries touch not only its victims and suspects but, ultimately, the investigators themselves.  This hardcover with dust jacket dates 1986.  The jacket has some wear, the book and cover look great.

Author Ned Seidler takes you back 4500 years ago when bartering was used to exchange one commodity for another to now when money is used to pay for everything from our meals to gas and air travel.  This is a very informative little book that will be enjoyed by not only coin collectors but history buffs and even those who just have a little interest in how things came about. 

Dating 1965 this hardcover measures 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 (approx.) and contains 46 pages.  On a scale of 1 - 10 I rate this copy an 8+.  The cover shows only slight wear but the inside still looks almost new. 

This enlightened book states the case for a new American conservatism that shall be at once mature, constructive, and responsible.  Mr. Rossiter is convinced that it is high time for thoughtful men and women to take stock of our post-war conservative revival.  Dating 1955, this 1^st edition, hardcover with dust jacket has wear on the jacket while the cover and book look great.
