The Low-Fat Way to Cook is a realistic approach to trimming fat from your diet.  This cookbook can help you develop an enjoyable, nutritious eating style to follow for a lifetime.  If you want to eat healthier foods but don't want to sacrifice taste, this book is for you.  All of the recipes are lower in total fat than similar traditional recipes, with the majority having less than 30 percent of calories from fat and less than 10 percent of calories from saturated fat.  It also includes a nutrient grid following each recipe listing the grams of total fat per serving, as well as the grams of saturated, polyunsaturated, and monounsaturated fat per serving.  Also, the grid lists the grams of protein, carbohydrate, and fiber and the milligrams of cholesterol and sodium per serving.  Calories per serving and the percentage of calories from fat follow the recipe yield.

Copyright 1993, this 1st printing hardcopy measures 11 1/2 x 9 x 1/2 (approx.) and contains 256 pages.  This book is in beautiful condition with very little wear.
(Please Read – I’m elderly and can’t smell very well.  All items come from estate, tag or yard sales, etc. so I don’t know if the previous owner was a smoker nor if they had an animal).
