When Biblical scholar Bart Ehrman first began to study the texts of the Bible in their original languages he discovered the multitude of mistakes and alterations that had been made by earlier translators. In this book Ehrman tells the story behind the mistakes and changes and shows the impact that they had upon the Bible we use today. Dating 2005 this 1st edition hardcover with dust jacket has just slight wear on the jacket and cover while the pages look new.
(Please Read – I’m elderly and can’t smell very well. All item come from estate, tag or yard sales, etc. so I don’t know if the previous owner was a smoker nor if they had an animal)
