Dinnertime for Animals

On a thick bed of grass, a mother grizzly bear is nursing her cubs. For several months the cubs drink their mother's milk. They follow her when she hunts for food, for one day they will be on their own. A young kangaroo, or joey, stays snug inside its mother's pouch. As she stoops to eat grass the joey is close enough to nibble some, too. It needs more food than just its mother's milk.
Copyright 1991 this hardcover National Geographic book measures 10 1/2 x 8 1/2 x 1/4 (approx.) and contains 32 large print pages with pictures. On a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being 'like new' I rate this copy a 7. The inside pages are great but the cover does show some wear, especially around the spine.
