(Book Resque)

Feng shui is the ancient Chinese philosophy which helps create harmony between ourselves and our surroundings. It is the art of arranging space so that it allows the free flow of chi, the earth's natural energy, and supports the needs of the individual. Rapheal Simons, a feng shui master, offers simple, step-by-step instructions on how to arrange your living and working space. In the first section of the book, he explains the basic feng shui principles and how to use them, emphasizing the importance of intuition. Simons shows how to identify your element (fire, air, water, or earth) and how to find the compass direction that suits you with simple astrological charts. The second section is devoted to applying these principles. With clear, practical charts and diagrams, he covers: siting a new house; drawing up floor plans; the effects of clutter; designing the interior; positioning furniture and choosing appropriate colours for each space. Simons includes a special section for each room of the house, from the hall to the study to the bedroom, offering tips on the best way to arrange each space and how to avoid common problems.

This paperback dates 1990.  The cover has slight wear on the front and a crease on the back.  The inside pages look good.

(Please Read – I’m elderly and can’t smell very well so I can’t tell if the previous owner was a smoker.  All books come from estate, tag or yard sales so I don’t know if the previous owner was a smoker nor if they had an animal.  Selling as is.
