$3.01 - Exotic Cookery Cookbook
1964 HC DJ 1st. ed. (21617-121 BO) vintage cookbooks
(Book Resque)

Delectable exotic dishes from faraway lands - usually found only in exclusive and expensive restaurants - can easily be prepared in one's own kitchen.  From 10 parts of the world including the Near, Middle, and Far East, the Caribbean and Pacific areas, and the Slavic countries, Mrs. van Saher has chosen 120 dishes that add unlimited variety and interest to the standard daily menu.  In addition, this book contains specific notes on the use of paprika and curries, clear definitions of every cooking term used in the book, tables of measures, and equivalents, and a complete list of spices and herbs used in exotic cookery.

Copyright 1964 this is a 1st Edition hardcover with dust jacket that measures 9 1/2 x 6 1/2 x 3/4 (approx.) and contains 172 pages.  On a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being 'like new' I rate the dust jacket a 5.  It does have 2 tears on the front.  The hardcover and inside pages I rate an 7.  I would rate higher but it does have a name written on the inside cover, in pencil, and there are a few pages that have had the corners turned down and several of the notes have comments.  This book has been used and apparently enjoyed.

(PLEASE READ: I’m elderly and can’t smell very well so I can’t tell if the previous owner was a smoker.  All books come from estate, tag or yard sales so I don't know if the previous owner was a smoker nor if they had an animal.  Selling as is.  Buy more than one item and save on postage.)
